At Kingsley Beds we pride ourselves on the very best in customer service. We also take our environmental and social responsibilities seriously. This is why as part of our service we always remove and recycle your old bed.

Bulky and heavy beds and mattresses are a problem when it comes to disposal. There are almost 7 million mattresses thrown away each year in the UK. It is staggering that even today in the UK an estimated 75% fail to find their way into the recycling process. It is important to dispose of mattresses and beds responsibly. 

We operate a zero to landfill policy

You can feel confident  that after we collect your old bed/mattress it will be fully recycled and reused

Springs

The steel springs of a mattress can be melted down to create new building materials

Foam

The foam of a mattress can be recycled into carpet underlay ,automotive cushioning or back into the Bedding industry

Natural wadding

The natural filling of a mattress, usually cotton or wool, can be recycled to create insulation, bedding, and are most recycled into new mattress fillings.
